A question about changing my last name

I had not planned on changing my last name but Dh really isnt going for it at all. So where do I begin? I have to start I guess at work, then what???

There are a ton of papers to fill out. You need to go to Social Security, the DMV, bank, insurance, and then do all your credit cards etc. If you go to the SS and the DMV sites they have all the pages to download. Good luck! I have all the papers but haven't gotten around to doing anything yet.

My bridal coordinator got this for me for my shower...it has made the tedious task of changing my name a little less bothersome...still frustrating cuz it's a LOT of paperwork...but at least everything is at your fingertips:
