A girl I work with got married in October of 2000. In November of this past year her photographer declared bankruptcy and closed, without a word of warning. He had all of her proofs and her unedited video footage! Finally, and after much legal action, all of her proofs and things were returned to her today. I am so happy for her! Could you imagine having that happen?!
This same thing happened to my cousin! I don't remember the name of the photographer, but they have been married over 4 years, have a baby, and are just now able to get their wedding pics from the court! Unbelieveable!
That is horrible!
That is scary. I was glad when all the 'loose ends' from our wedding got wrapped up, especially with the photographer, because they got things wrong a few times and I kept having to bring my negatives back. I`m glad your friend got resolution to her problem.
