my cousin ashley, was unconscious after her emergency liver transplant.... she missed may 26, 2009 totally!!!
it's amazing how far she has come since then. she has had multiple biposies and blood tests, had to go back in the hospital a few times and have become a role model to many!!!She now wants to be doctor who specializes in liver disease. yesterday her fb status said 'Happy Liver-ersary'.
I along with the rest of my family, including Ashley of course, will be doing a walk for Liver Disease on the 13th. Ashley is the captain of our team and it is called Liver. Love. Laugh... we have raised a ton of money so far!!!
I am so proud of her!!!

I am a PA who works in liver disease, and know how tough it can be for people who have cirrhosis, but I also get to see the many who have had successful liver transplants. Congrats to your cousin,and happy liverarsary to her!!!!

She actually had Wilson's Disease she was 16 at the time of the tranplant. It is a gentic disease, that has to do with copper in your system. This disease is super rare.

doing great! i work for another company i really needed the full time job! I am also starting grad school in the fall for teaching! things are good so far! once again glad your cousin is doing better!
