? about eating wedding cake for anniversary

So we'll be 'celebrating' our 1 year anniversary on Sunday and I remember seeing a post on how to properly defrost the cake. Does anyone remember it? Or does anyone know how to go about eating a year old frozen cake? Lol tia

Hey Love! We just put ours in the fridge to defrost 24-48 hours in advance. Brian ate the cake the night of and said it was good, I didn't eat it cause I had a very upset stomach.

yup--that works

we put ours in the fridge that morning and then later put it on the counter to defrost that nite.

tasted great!
