Re: ? about your rings?
I've always thought that the wedding band was closest and then the ering is on the outside.... not sure why... maybe bc the marriage is more important than the engagement?

Re: ? about your rings?
i wear my wedding band closest to my heart...
i believe that is the proper way to wear it but really i think its all what you prefer...
altho i swear the proper way should be the other way around, cuz you got the e-ring frist! lol
ETA: Many say that, traditionally, the engagement ring is worn on top of the wedding band. Part of this tradition may come from brides wearing their engagement rings on their right hands (or not at all) during the wedding ceremony, then putting it on over the wedding band for pictures and the reception.
The Greek believed a vein in the ring finger of the left hand led directly to the heart, which is why wedding rings are worn on that finger. So, for many, wearing the wedding band under the engagement ring puts the wedding band “closest to the heart,” and the engagement ring worn on top of it “protects” it.
Some people say that wearing the wedding ring on top of the engagement ring shows the story from engagement to marriage, and that it represents the culmination of the wedding in the marriage.

Re: ? about your rings?
I wear my wedding ring closest simply because that is how I think it looks better with my set.

I also wear my wedding band closest but I've seen it done both ways. This is just the way I prefer it!

Re: ? about your rings?
They always say you wear your wedding band closer to you heart. So that is what I do. Lately I have just been wearing my band, and not my e-ring.

People kept telling me 'NOO its not like that'. I don't care, as Cartman says 'I do what I want!'

AHHHH you had to pull up antique rings- MY FAVE! I am such a retro junkie.
Anyways, like everyone says- it's supposed to be closest to your heart but I have seen it worn both ways.
