we are adopting a puppy from Little Shelter in Huntington today!!!!
hopefully it doesnt snow too bad b/c i have to drive out there to meet DH after work to meet our prospective new puppy!!
YAAY i'm very excited!!!
***UPDATE*****
im sad to report that DH went to the shelter and the puppy we had our eye on just got adopted
DH said they just got a litter of german shepherds in, but they are not up for adoption yet so we may adopt one of those.... but i'm really sad b/c the original puppy was SOOOOO cute!!!!!!!

Oh no!!! I'm sorry to hear that!!! Well, maybe you weren't meant to adopt that one, but you are meant to adopt one of the German Shephard pups Try and think of it that way!

Oh wow - what kind of dog was it?
On a brighter now - I lovvvvvve germans!!! I actually was never that found of them growing up because there was a scary one next door...however my parents adopted a german lab mix and he is the best dog ever and a GREAT watch dog. He is sweet as pie but has a mean bark and scare off anyone. He is very loyal to our family and he thinks its his job to protect us at al ltimes...so cute! I have to send you a picture of him

aww i'm sorry...that happened to us when we were adopting our 2nd.. and it turned out great cause we have riley now
German shepherds are amazing dogs, smart, loyal, easy to train. My Dodger is a shepherd/chow mix..and he's the best!! good luck..let us know what happens.
