After 6 years, I'm finally taking off my acrylic nails.
I'm scared. I know my nails underneath are paper thin and they'll be super sensitive. I want to get them taken off tonight but since I'm fairly new to my area I havent been able to find a new nail salon. Does anyone know of a place I can go where they'll do a good job taking them off and cleaning them up as best as possible?

Im not sure. I had fake nails for my wedding and took them off myself. That was probably dumb. My DH's mom gave me this stuff called Duri to put on my nails and it helped a lot!

you can soak them in acetone nail polish for about 30 minutes and they should just come right off.
I'm also a fan of Nailtiques #2... They've made my nails so strong & they don't peel anymore!
It's about $10 for a small bottle but a little goes a long way!

What a small world! They were all at our wedding! I wish I had some pics here at work to post of all of them getting down at the wedding. Sooo funny!

Thank you all for the advice. I wound up going right after work last night to a local place by me and after soaking them in acetone for an hour they finally came off. The nail lady was very stern with me. 'No more acrylic. Is bad!'
No kidding lady...why do you think I'm going through this!
