After all the planning is done and the big day is over how did you feel? I have been planning the wedding for over 18 months and I keep thinking I won't know what to do with myself once its over. I'm so used to running around each weekend doing wedding or apartment things that I can't remeber the last time I just slept late on Saturday or sat down for dinner. Am I crazy for thinking this?

Re: After wedding question
There is still SO much wedding related stuff to do after the wedding, you wont have an immediate lack of tasks.
I thought I was going to feel sad the planning was over because it was such a huge thing I looked forward to for so long - but thankfully I really didnt have any of that.
Life just takes over where the wedding left off. You will have some new interests that occupy your time and move on.

Not at all.I thought that too... but there are so many other things your gonna do, for instance, if you dont own a home, the ordeal with buying a home i hear is a big one! and youll have your weekends to do MARRIED things!!!!

Re: After wedding question
I thought I would be really sad, but suprise, suprise I am not. I still get my 'wedding' fix on this site, and have had lots of wedding stuff to do. Thank you cards, photos, albums, videos, still take up a lot of time. Also, you begin to deal with other 'real life' issues such as getting your place in order and getting back to working (not just showing up and planning all day )

Re: After wedding question
Like it was mentioned above, there will still be a few more wedding related tasks, but there will be pleasure in not HAVING to get things done by a certain time.
New things will come up and it will be nice to sleep in and do things purely for pleasure.

Re: After wedding question
I agree with everyone else so far. I get to still do some wedding things with everyone planning on here, but it is so nice to not have to be here or there and get things done by a certain time. It's nice to relax a bit and move on to other things.
