why are they making such a big thing about this in the movie?

imo it wasnt very detailed in the book.

imo it wasnt very detailed in the book.

because in the book a lot of mothers of younger girls were upset that bella had bruises and stuff and they didn't want their daughters thinking sex was violent.
AND if you think about it, the books were originally geared more towards a younger audience, sex is an adult topic, so they had to be careful how to portray it on film.

compared to the books i read it wasn't detailed AT ALL (i read some raunchy stuff) but emmett said that he and rosalie destroyed their first house on their wedding night, and after bella becomes a vamp and they have sex in their new place it gets a little more detailed.

Yeahhhhhhh I get why they didn't include it so much in the books. So they should do the same for the movie... even more so IMO! There's gonna be tons of little kids watching, like my 9 year old cousin who is Twilight obsessed!
