If K. Locke had one of the the lowest averages last week, and again this week, won't it make her with the lowest vote?At first thought, that would seem logical, but without knowing the numbers, you really can't say for sure.

On another note, does anyone else think American Idol influences the votes?? No doubt Ruben is talented, but has it really been fair that he has always gotten a special introduction from the very start, while everyone else simply has their name stated?? This past week it did seem like the host toned it down a bit (and Ruben finally wore something other than a 205 Jersey) .. but seriously, when the host is introducing people, if he's going over the top for one individual, I think that
assists in creating a 'fan club.'
And one other thought .. why is it okay that Ruben is so big, but Kimberly Locke (black hair), who is not nearly as overweight, has the weight issue going against her .. from Simon making a comment earlier in the competition (as well as Simon commenting on weight to red-haired Vanessa), to the post here stating she needs a girdle. While I don't think her choice in outfits have all been very good, I do think she can sing .. and have been surprised she keeps ending up in the bottom three when there are others who don't seem to have the same vocal strength she has, in my opinion.
And while I'm on my rant (I'm having a bad day

), my problem with Carmen has been how she constantly puts her left hand on her hip .. however the past two weeks she does seem to be having more fun and getting into her songs, so she seems to be breaking out of that habit, but I don't think she has the same vocal consistency as some of the others.
As I continue my roll .. I have to admit .. I'm finding it hard to picture Ruben in the American Idol roll because he doesn't take charge of the stage.
Oh, and my husband has been wondering if there's something going on between Clay and Carmen .. so much so, that's he's got me wondering it too.
That's my rant, and I'm sticking to it!
