Album ?

My photographer came over last night to help me put our album together. We decided on 118 pics in the album. Just wondering how many pics. you girsl put in your albums to see if I went a little overboard. (my photographer assured me that it was normal, but who knows--)

we haven't even started to pick out pictures and oru photographer told us to just pick what we wanted in our album and not to count. They then take those and make a mock album of a layout they think would look good and we get to approve or make changes before sending it in.

My meeting is a week from Tuesday and I have my picks down to 192 (from 757 pictures!) and about 20-30 are the same pictures (like 2 or 3 of almost the same shot but don't know which is the 'best').

Anyway when I told them the number they said that was a good starting point.

When I chose my package in the very beginning when I booked Patken, I had no clue what was normal so I picked 43 pictures (which was one of the choices). This wasn't nearly enough! I'm actually going to have 83 pictures in my album. I would've put more in, but I decided to put the rest of the proofs that I really like in a nice album.

I know--I had over 1,000 pics to choose from, and I couldn't decide. MY photographer helpend me eliminate some of them (many duplicates). I too chose the package with only 50 pictures-- --Oh well--I had no clue then either. But I am happy with what I picked--I have everythign from me getting ready to the end of the reception. Oh well--DH freaked out That's what he gets for not helping me

i have the 40 something pic book too... but we will probably add more pics! there are too many i like!

I am just wondering how much extra did you pay for extra pages? I know it different with each photographer but I just want an idea. I am afraid my DH is going to go ballistic when he hears how much it is all going to cost. Thanks

I'm paying $66 for each extra page. That's up to 4 pictures to a page.

I am actaully paying for the extra pictures--not pages--so any pics over 50--I pay for--I have different sizes in my book--so if I have a 5x7, it's 16.00/pic, 8x10 $20/pic, etc, etc.

My DH did go ballastic when I told him how much we owed Big fight this morning--oh well-- But it just seemend like alot--the # also included extra prints for my family, the balance we owed from the package, and the the extra $ we paid for the TY cards. For the amount we got, I can't complain--we really spent below the average b/c our photographer is one of our good friends.

we had 60 in our package and we kept to that for our album (which we're still waiting to receive!).
