Album Advice

I finally went to my album appt but now I'm having second thoughts about a few things. I love my B&W pics but I don't know if they will look right in the album. I did a 10 x10 album because I don't like a large border but then the B&Ws would be smaller with much more blank space around them. I don't know if I should vary the sizes of more of the other pics too or if I should just take them out. I think I could have a nice B&W album on its own or is that random not to integrate them. I know you ladies are good at this sort of thing. Thanks.

Re: Album Advice

Hi this is what I'm doing. I'm keeping my album more traditional meaning more of the color pictures. don't get me wrong i do have quite a few black and white pics in there. with the rest of my black and white pics i'm doing a black and white album - they call a digital black and white coffee table album. Its nice to have two different type books. Good luck. I'm obviously on the album stage too. Its alot of work!

Re: Album Advice

Personally, i would not want too albums but that is just me. I would want all my favorite photos in one place to show people plus i think the 'story' gets told in one book better than two.

In my opinion, black and white photos add drama to mostly color albums as color photos add drama to mostly black and white albums. Anything that adds visual interest can be a good thing if in the right hands.

Re: Album Advice

I agree with Stef. I also like a variety of sizes and layouts in the album. Going thru 40 pages of the same exact size/shape photo is a bit boring IMO.

I do not think you need to have full flush pages throughout an album. I think some photos look better smaller with blank space around them.

Finally- something I can help you with Tammy

Re: Album Advice

Thanks ladies for the advice. I think I have to play around with it a bit more. More variety is probably the best way to go.
