Album Layouts

you should be able to make changes to the album, i had 20 pages. I wasnt 100% happy with all the pages, so i told the photogrpaher and we worked on the pages for weeks till i was completely satisfied, now I LOVE my album

I know I can change it but they wrote let me know if there are any minor changes and I feel like there are major changes that I want. I guess I'm more disappointed that I didn't like it then anything!

i feel the same way! the editor emailed me saying 'please get back to me with minor changes u'd like' - um...this was weeks ago and i'm STILL working on my list! i'm totally in love with my photos but was super bummed about the album layout... i feel ya on this one! just remember you're paying for it - so do what u need to do 'till u love it!

she is exactly right, you are the paying customer, you are the one that needs to be happy in the end

let me see if i can find the website, there was this website thagt i loved and i used it alot to help me with my albu, there where several times i said i like this from this website now use these pictures and dulicate it, and they where more then happier to do so

You used Thomas Paul also right? Thats who mine is through even DH was like the album is very plain nothing really stood out to me but I feel bad going back and saying I don't like it. I know I'm paying for it and will fix it I'm just trying to think about the best way to go about fixing it. How many pictures did you get in your album? Im still really upset that there isn't 75 in there thats one of my major issues.

hmm...well the amount u were promised should be there.. so that i would definetly bring up to the editor. Maybe it has to do with the type of album u picked?? I know all of the pictures we chose were there.

as for the editing there is nothing wrong with speaking up. Tom is a great guy and an amazing photographer..but he doesn't put the layouts together..his editor does. so just talk to her. let me know how it goes & i'll let u know how mine goes too!

I made a bunch of changes to my album wen i first got it! I thought the photographer might be mad but I changed backgrounds, pictures and picture colors and sizes...it's your album so make sure you make it like you want.

This is what I am going through now.. I got my first album proof like 2 weeks ago, and just gave them my list of changes, what I wanted like different colors, backgrounds, and photo sizes. Don't worry, you are the customer and everyone has different tastes. Just tell them what you want done. They've been through this a million times. Good luck!

When I got my album layout, I loved it at first. There were a few things I wanted to change. And as I thought about it more, they forgot 4 pictures. I know 4 pictures aren't that many but they were some of my favorite pictures. I went back and told them that he forgot them and I wanted them added.

Please don't be afraid to tell them what you don't like and what you want changed. You paid a lot of money for this and you should be happy. You will only have 1 wedding album.

PS: It took us 2 months going back and forth with the designer to get it the way we wanted it.
