It looks good. Just some things I would consider:
Pg 13 and 14 I like the idea of making the middle pic larger BUT the layout will probably have to be altered past that because if he just makes it bigger, you will get a seam across the middle and you guys are sooo small in that pic it might make it difficult to see you.he might have to make that the first pic when he makes it bigger and I would move the other pics side by side. Then they get the seam but its not as harmful as to the longer church pic.
Pg 15,16: I would just make the black and white page full size on 16 and make the one of you guys walking out smaller. the photographer probably made it big because the colors meld smoothly with the other pic but you could just have them take out the blending so the pics are side by side with the candle lighting pic one one page and then the other full page of the kiss, with the small pic of you guys walking out.
pg 17, 18: I personally don't like this layout at all. Its too harsh with the difference in colors. I see that he/she was trying to use the church elements in the background of the black and white pics, but its too light for the harsher black and white tones and then the really intense colors on the left hand pic of your BP. If you want to use that BP pic i would blend it better with the background church pics and then use other pics. The black and white ones of you guys in the church are GORGEOUS romantic shots and the romance kinda gets killed by you all standing with the priest there looking forced. JMO.
I think the B&W shots should have their own seperate layout OR be in color if they have to be on that same page. But the doorway shot really should have its own page...I'd probably do it on a corner like on the left so its a focal point, then fade it out slowly, maybe blend the church background shot in in black and white too and on the far right where it would be pale, add a few pics on top. let me know if that doesnt make sense to you.
I really loved pages 21 & 22, 25&26.
I LOVE the effect of you guys dancing in the lights on page 34 BUT I am not crazy about all the pics jumbled together on the side because they are really large in comparison to you guys dancing and they are in full color where you guys blend with the lights. So it kills the romantic beauty of it for me a little.
Hmm..Is there any way they can maybe make the reception pics smaller on that page and push them to the left and make it a neater layout? Like make the entrance pic larger pushed against the far left and then put the others next to it in a more symmetrical layout; boxed like he has the-sorta like boxes like they have but just stacked next to one another and beneath rather than all crazy? Or tilted like they have them but def smaller and not full color on that page. Its overwhelming you and your DH. But I def think the dancing pics in those shades you remain the focal point. its an awesome effect.
pg 19, 20 : Just reverse the order.
Pages 31 and 2 I like but I wouldn't stick the bridal party in with the romantic shots of you and DH. But thats just a personal preference. The layout itself is fine. I just like keeping really romantic formal portraits on their own pages so you get their full impact.
The reception pages are a little odd. Like thee layouts are fine but the pictures I feel aren't distibuted evenly. Does that make sense? Like he will have all reception pics of you and DH on one page that are pics that COULD go on diff pages but then like the one of you dancing your first dance he throws in too many other people. -like keep the crazy dancing ones all together no matter who is dancing. Your first dance should be seperate from all other reception pics; its important. You want it to POP. Random reception pics can be collaged to use the space better on a seperate page. JMO.
