I know, I am so upset about it! I told him that I needed a price and he told me not to worry, it will be a good price. Originally, when I met with him he told me the parents albums would be from $150-$300. Also, he told me I would pay per picture and it was really inexpensive (I forget the amount, but a matter of cents for small pictures and about $3.00-$8.00 for larger, which is good). But I never asked about the price of the actual album, not including the pictures, from there I would be able to figure out the price. I am only going to have about 50 pictures.
I think you need to demand a price. Him telling you 'not to worry' sounds kind of fishy. He might be a great guy and actually give you an excellent deal but how can you possibly know when you will be ready to order without knowing how much its going to cost?
Well Dh says we will give him the picture list and then we will decide if the cost is good and then either do it or try and talk him down. He is a friend of dh's and he doesn't want to bother him, but I want a price. I feel like I am never going to get my album! I will have to tell him I need a price or I can't order it. That what it has come down to. This is why I wanted to go through someone else and not his friend. He was the only place that didn't have packages.
