Alright, I finished my thank yous, took a break and now I want to tackle albums. My photographer will edit the digital photos, but would prefer not to do albums. I plan on doing my own magazine style album for myself through one of those sites that Peteysbride recommends (Thanks for all of the info that you have posted). My mom has requested a more traditional parents album. Single photo per page, 5X7 , archival look. Any idea where I can get those types of albums? I looked around online and they were $$$$.

Re: Album question
You're welcome. Glad it helps. What site are you using?
For the parent abums do you want the leather kind where you just slide the picturs in to the mountings one per page?
Whats your budget. I have a lot of sites bookmarked at home under Client work.
I have a question for you. are your parents opposed to digital completely or are they just opposed to the digital flushmount look?
Matted albums are expensive period especially because you usually need to pay for the mats seperately. Its just as much as a flushmount most of the time. So what about doing a book for them but creating it in the classic one pic per page style? No photoshop work, just simple one pic per page so they get the leather album and the look of traditional wiith a more manageable price tag?
I'm glad that you confirmed my thoughts that archival/matted leather bound albums are expensive. I thought that I might have just been looking in the wrong places.
I'll have to get more information from my parents about what they were hoping to get. Maybe a digital album made to look more traditional would work for them.
I have new respect why photography packages are soo expensive.
