DH and I are thinking we might just get an album from our photogrpaher rather than make or order our own from an outside company. he has an 8x10 album with 40 prints for $550. His albums are beautiful!!!!!! Is this a decent price? I have noooo clue what the norm is for pricing on these things...
TIA!!

ya the one Im working on from somerset would be about the same price as yours. But Im worried about the quality just cause I have never seen one in person. And I feel like $300+ is a lot of money. i had emailed the company and they explained it to me. They explained it as plastic pages with the photo wrapped around it. So we are worried that in a few year it will start peeling. So we might go meet with our photogrpaher to see what he offers at the under $600 price. And we know his albums are top quality from what we were shown at our booking with him. Have you ordered from somerset before? Do you have any thoughts or comments on the quality?

Re: albums
What company does he use? Graphi studios is who alot of people use but its kinda eh. I ordered fron NationsPhotoLab-a preview book and it was gorgeous but the software doesnt work on my computer. They were cheaper than somesert.
I have not seen somerset yet.

Re: albums
I think he has a few different styles of albums. I dont know where he gets them from though. But we saw a bunch and they seemed to be great quality... we would go look again before 100% deciding.

If you're comfortable with him I would say go abck. I do albums all the time and am good at it BUT I still hit walls some times because a weddign album is a lot of work and if you're not comfortable doing it yourself, you're better off letting a professional you trust (and who better than your guy) to do it.
Ask him what companies he uses to print.

ya Ill go in with a bunch of questions and see what he has. I like the one I have created on somerset so far, but we are afraid we will be spending $330 and not be happy with the quality.
