Ok...I changed my name at social security...tomorrow is the dmv. After that am I official?

Christy, did u get your new social security card with your married name on it. You need that for the DMV.

I didn't need my social security card for the DMV. I just needed my old license and my marriage certificate.

I didn't need my new SS card for DMV either. I did them both in the same day

Wow!! Where did you guys renew your license? I had to bring everything but the kitchen sink to renew my license. I needed my new SS card, the marriage license, a bank statement, a utility bill and a credit card bill all in my married name.

i went to the dmv and I just needed my marriage license and old license.
