Hi! Weekend was good. We went to a friend's birthday party at Medieval Times (of all places)...WILD experience. Thank goodness there was a bar!
Yesterday was lazy...got my nails done and then went out to dinner with some college friends who live here now. It's restaurant week so we got to go to a place we couldn't afford normally. It's owned by a guy who was on the 'New Iron Chef' challenge show on the Food Network. Our plates totally looked like something one of the chefs would put up for the judges. Crazy stuff like 'parmesan foam' which tasted like the cheese but was like foamy milk. Weird food!
Today was a weird one at work. Had a two hour ethics training that made my brain hurt, and then the rest of the day was a blur, so I guess that's good.
how about you? settling back in after your vacay?

WoW, what an experience. Sounds soo Fancy. Did you take any Pics of the Plating. I bet you felt like a Judge.

There were a lot of birthdays there. It's just such a spectacle and so over the top, you don't quite know what to think of it! The guys who played the 'knights' were macking it up to the girls who were there for their birthdays. I think a girl was there having her Bach party even... at least it seemed that way!

Glad you got through Monday OK. I always Hate Mondays.
I go Back to work Tomorrow after a Beautiful, Wonderful VaCa.
I always get alittle Anxious going back to work after having alot of days off.
Kinda Sad everything is over.

It was a really neat setting. Only about 10 or 15 tables tops in the place, with neat silverware and plates, cool lamps, etc.
We didn't take pics of the plates. That would have been smart! I always forget to bring my camera.... But yeah, it was good overall, but I am definitely glad we were paying the rest week price for the dinner! It's $30.08 for dinner and $20.08 for lunch at more than 120 restaurants all over town. Great way to try places you could never afford to go to otherwise.
