DH and I are not able to spend any time on V-day together since he's working and he leaves before i get home, and I'm okay with that, since we went away last weekend for it.

But I know he forgot to get me a card, and will have no time at all tomorrow to get me one. And I'm a little sad. I'm such a card person. He could get me jewelry, and I like the damn card more. And for christmas I didn't get a wife card I know so silly, but I was so looking forward to getting a wife card, so I actually made it a point to mention it, but he woke up late today and now I won't even be getting a card I have no idea why its getting me so down, but it really is bothering me

so DH got home at midnight last night and woke me me up with roses in hand
no card though, but he siad he will try today It totally made my day!!!!! thanks girls for the support!!

I am feeling the same way ~ we have a situation and both of us decided not to do anything for valentine's day ~ since we have been married I have been very sad that I have not received any wife card's either...

That was so nice of him. I know what you mean about wanting a card. It's nice to have those because you can keep them forever and forever and show people 20 years from now how wonderful your DH was and still is

I told DH not to get me anything but now everytime I see a flower delivery come into the office I secretly hope it is for me. I told him he could deliver a sandwich to me instead of flowers I shall see.
