Just in case you didn't know, I just got my name change confirmation back from the Second Department and they said it can take up to 2 months for it to officially appear on the roll of attorneys. They mentioned it might cause some confusion if you try to apply to any other courts during that time - I still need to get admitted to practice in SDNY and EDNY, so just in case you were looking to get admitted to other courts as well. I can't even sign my own motions right now!!
