Am I over reacting?

My DH has an annoying habit of calling me then putting me on the phone with random friends/family. IT DRIVES ME CRAZY!!! I've told he a hundred times to stop doing it, yet just now he calls me from his mom's house and a family friend shows up and he he says 'Hey Uncle FX, Kelly wants to say hi' and hands him the phone. AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
I'm sorry, but I don't always feel like making polite conversation. If I wanted to talk to the people he hands the phone to I'd ask or call them myself!!! I felt like hanging up the phone when he did that and just pretending we got disconnected.

Just need to vent,

I understand. DH's mom does that to him a lot and he HATES it!

I can totally relate. except that the person who does this to me is my mom. SO ANNOYING!

OMG, he must be related to my DH!

People will call him. I can be doing anything- dishes, laundry, in the fricken shower and he'll come over and just hand the phone to me.

i don't think you are overreacting. whatever the annoying thing is, the fact is that you have asked him to stop and he hasn't! what is it with men and not 'getting it?'

I would say something again - maybe he doesn't think you are serious?

I just showed this post to my FH and asked if it sounds (looks) familiar..... He quickly pointed to me and said, 'See.' I'm the culprit in our relationship. I have a bad habit of putting him on the phone.... After reading these entries, I think it's time I curtail that behavior.
