am I the only loser not doing a first for Holidays?

I keep hearing all my newlywed friends doing first TG or Xmas. We don't have the space. Are we the only ones?

You are not alone. Our place is tiny and I am fine still going elsewhere for the holidays. I don't even have enough room for more than 8 dustbunnies.

Our apt is WAY to small to have more then 4 people over for dinner at a time. Even that is pushing it w/eating on tv tables lol.

we're hosting thanksgiving this year .... but it's just going to be DH and me and my brother (my family is out of the country, and DH's family is stupid)

We wanted to host Thanksgiving, but didn't have enough time to plan it after the wedding.

whomp. We are doing Christmas though.

we are not. i would love too but dont have the room. DH is one of 7 so that side of the family alone is sooo big.

we're not. not only is our apt too small we are also always the guests and never the hosts. we have enough of family to play hosts.
maybe if we move in the next few months we will attempt a sedar? tho I dont see it happening. I am perfectly happy going somewhere and not needing to cook/clean LOL (I am a lazy azz)

We're not hosting...but it is our first holiday season living together, so we're excited about that!

We might have people over for New Year's, we'll see.

But you're not alone in not hosting!

Hey, look at it this way - less stress, and you don't have to clean your kitchen afterward!

I'm not hosting and will try to avoid ever hosting because I can't cook to save my life! My mother, on the other hand, is an excellent cook ,so I'd rather spend holidays at a place where I can get a good meal.

Were not hosting any of the holidays, we go to my IL's and then my moms for every holiday

We're going to my mom's. I would love to host something, but we're moving into a house right around Christmas time.

we have a one bedroom apartment and our kitchen is the so small. we dont even have a kitchen table. we have a tiny peninsula/island thing with two barstools.

we usually eat in the living room.

and i dont want anyone here anyways.

we wont be hosting anything except bbqs. we have a deck and a huge backyard so.. we have the summer covered.

We're having a holiday party with all our friends. It's just a cocktail party and thank goodness for that bc we could never fit seating for 22 people in our little 1 bedroom apt.
