an endless sea of paperwork

an endless sea of paperwork

Does anyone else feel like basically all they've done since they've gotten married is paperwork? I swear, I feel like there's so much to do....health insurance forms, changing IRA beneficiaries, changing life insurance policies, credit cards, not to mention the TY cards, etc...the list goes on and on. To top it off we moved into our house so there's address changes that need to be made.

I can only imagine if I had changed my name how much more paperwork there is. I feel like I need to quit my job to just fill out paperwork full time.

I definitely have. And I have other paperwork than that going on too. I hate it.

I am doing it in stages so I am not bombarded, LOL....I did all the work stuff but I wont change my passport until it expires as well the drivers license or anything else so that gives me a couple of yrs.

Mine hasn't been too bad so far...I changed my SS and license and banking all in one day, and just had to go back to one bank because the change didn't go through. My work stuff was easy. DH had to do the paperwork at his job to add me to his things. Now all that's left is my credit card and my passport and I'm set. I guess it's easy when you don't have much to begin with LOL.

I've got almost everything done.... the most annoying has been Delta airlines, actually -- they want me to fax them a copy of our marriage license to change my name on my sky miles account!!! What a pain in the tush!!!!

But I definitely took my time. My passport I just did a few weeks ago and got it last week.

The sad part is that I'm not changing my name so it's not like I have to do my passport, etc. I had to do my driver's license and registration and notary license because we moved. Then I needed to add DH to my AMEX account and change my 401(k) beneficiary.

He added me to his health insurance (he has the better coverage) but for some reason I ended up having to do all the paperwork . He changed his address with work with personnel but not with benefits so we never got notified that I was added to his health insurance so now 'we' which means 'I' have to write a letter and fax it over there. It's making me crazy.
