ANNA IS IN LABOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is Anna's TWIN SISTER, Lucy!! :)

I just wanted to say that last night, Anna and John went to Flowerfield to take a picture by the tree (they started the ritual last year) for their 2nd anniversary, then they went out to eat... and then they came home.


She was having mild contractions all day, but nothing that was really hard to tolerate.... until 11:50pm, when she went to the bathroom to pee and she noticed drips coming down and thought 'Hmmm.. I didn't start to pee yet, what is this!?' and WHAMMMMMMMMM, a whole gush of it started coming down!


She called me (50 miles away) and told me her water broke. I got in the car with my mom, Anna's Mother In Law and my brother and we drove to the hospital (ST Charles)... we camped out all night in hopes of labor progressing.

I left Anna and John alone so they could get their much needed rest (especially Anna)... and by 7am, the nurses said it didn't look like she was any more than 1cm (same as last night).... so I decided to come to her house and sleep for a few hours.

All is well... Anna is still well enough (contractions are so mild) to give me instructions on the phone to come type this message to you guys!

Wish her luck, my trooper of a sister!

I'm so excited, I cant' wait to meet my new niece or nephew!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG! I have been waiting for this message ALL week! I am so excited...it will be hard to tear myself away from the board all day. I hope everything goes smoothly for you, Anna....I'll be thinking of you and John all day!

So she did go into labor for dessert!!!! LOL :) I'M SO EXCITED!!!! Can't wait to hear what she has!!!
