Hi everyone,

I'm so sorry that I have not posted my Hawaii review and pics sooner. It's been one crazy week and weekend.

Hawaii was beautiful ... absolutely! All you ladies who said it was so, were not lying. We spent a 4 nights in Oahu and 5 nights in Kauai. Both were beautiful, but Kauai was absolutely breathtaking. We got two full days of rain in Kauai, so we went out touring and saw how beautiful Kauai really is. The trip up to the Canyon was a bit scary and we couldn't work through the rain forest (Rob had a bad foot), but the sights are truly amazing. The Hyatt was gorgeous ... we loved the man made lagoon. We were there during the shark attack, so we preferred to stay by the pool and lagoon area. Oahu was nice too ... we stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village which was beautiful, but very crowded ... we weren't the only ones there on a conference. We saw some of the sights in Oahu including Diamond Head and Pearl Harbor.

Our only bad experience was that after our trip to the Honolulu zoo, I got stung by a hug bee and developed a secondary infection to it. Thank goodness Rob had his insurance card so I was able to see the doctor and get some antibIotics.

Even with the bee sting, I highly recommend Hawaii. The island is so beautiful, casual, and stress-free ... that it's hard to believe we were in the US. The actual trip was long and we did spend a lot of cash, but I think it's at least a once in a lifetime trip.

It's so funny we have so many of the same pictures I felt like I was looking at my own

Great pictures! Kauai was gorgeous

I wish I took more pictures of their flowers - I don't think you'll ever see such perfect flowers ever again!

Stef ... there are no beaches like that here ... that's why it was hard to remember that we were still in the US ... it felt like Paradise!

Cira- looks like an amazing time!
Hawaii is definitely on our 'must see/do' list!!!
They certainly don't have beaches like that on Long Island!
