Anniversaries

What anniversary will everyone celebrate now that you're married? Will it just be the wedding date or do you still celebrate on your original dating date or on the date you got engaged? There seem to be too many dates now!

Re: Anniversaries

My wedding anniversary (9/20) and our 'old' anniversary (10/2) are so close we won't celebrate both. Last year I gave him a card on 10/2 and he said he thought we wouldn't celebrate it anymore, I told him I wanted to at least acknowledge it. This past Sat (10/2) - I gave him a card and he said again 'I thought we weren't celebrating this anymore.'....guess he forgot last year's conversation

Re: Anniversaries

We only celebrate our wedding anniversary although we do acknowledge the anniversary of our engagement too with champagne or something. I'm not entirely sure anymore when our dating anniversary was...sometime in March, I think...

we celebrate our wedding anniversary with an annual trip somewhere and acknowledge our dating one...small dinner at home, champagne, etc...nothing too big.

Re: Anniversaries

This is the last year we will celebrate our dating anniversary--October 31st. We will be on a plane heading back from a wedding in Chicago, but I think we'll have some champagne when we get back to our apartment.

Re: Anniversaries

We'll celebrate our dating and wedding anniversary. Our dating anniversary is always around Thanksgiving. Our engagement date is right before Thanksgiving, so it's easy to roll it all into one day.

Re: Anniversaries

We got married on our dating anniversary (or actually one day before it) so we will just keep celebrating on that same day. I love to keep things simple!!
