those of you who have reached your one year anniversary--> what kinds of gifts did you exchange? and/or how did you celebrate?

Well I haven't reached one year yet, but Maureen (Moehick) just posted about all the great gifts she got for her one year anniversary on NWR the other night... she and her DH did 'paper' gifts ...but with a twist
We will be going away and I don't plan on giving him a gift & I hope he doesn't get me one!

We aren't really exchanging gifts ( I don't think anyway) we are going to Atlantic City for the weekend.

we actually have a wedding to go to 2 days before our anniversary ( weddign is a Friday), so I am not sure if we can go away.
The wedding is in New Rochelle, so we can't even make it into a weekend getaway. . since we live Ohhh... 15 minutes away!
I don't know if we will do gifts. I think i'd rather do a trip--gift buying is hard.

Ours is in two weeks! Crazy how quickly it goes by.... but we already decided that we will not exchange presents this year. Instead, we are eating dinner at the Fox Hollow resturant to celebrate - I hope they throw in somthing nice like Westbury Manor did for Moehick! We actaully won a gift certificate for 20% off at any Scotto Bros. resturant - which we will be using for our anniversary dinner - so I guess that kinda counts as a Paper gift, right?
