So my first anniversary is quickly approaching and I don't have a clue what to get for DH. He has been so busy and overwhelmed with school lately that I don't know what his interests are. HE doesn't even know what his interests are. Is a massage a cheesy, generic gift? I think he is so stressed he could use it.

Re: Anniversary gift help
We didn't do gifts ... just our Disney trip and a very expensive dining experience there on our anniversary (which we also did on our HM).
I LOVE massages but will your DH?

DH actually likes massages more than me. I talk too much and don't relax. I talk to everyone. I get frustrated if I can't converse with my manicurist.
We also don't have the time to go on an anniversary trip since DH will be in school all summer...

The massage is good, you know he'll enjoy it and the first anniv is paper so it fits the bill!
on a different note - how was your shopping day yesterday?

Sadly, I didn't get any clothes, but my mom did buy me a nice new set of placemats, napkins and napkin rings from Crate and Barrel.

Oh yeah, and a chocolate Bundt cake mix from Williams-Sonoma because she tasted the sample and decided that I needed to make it!
