Anniversary in Vegas?
I am trying to plan our 1 year anniversary with a suprise trip for DH to vegas.I know many of you just went there. Is 5 nights too long?
Also, hotel recommendations would be great. I am thinking of maybe the Paris hotel??? I want something with a nice pool, jacuzzi and spa.
Also, if you dont mind, can I get an idea on prices???
I have been getting quotes, does 1330$ sound like too much for 5 night, with roundtrip flight?
HELP!

Re: Anniversary in Vegas?
I cant talk about price really - it depends on a lot of factors like time of trip and whats included.I dont think 5 nights is too long but anymore might be. Also keep in mind that enjoying Vegas requires money - money to eat at nice places, gamble, see the shows, etc.. So if you might want to have a shorter trip so you live it up a bit while you are there. But there is definitely plenty to do for 5 days.
The Paris has a really nice casino, looks pretty on the outside and has some nice restaurants and is pretty centrally located. Ive never been in the rooms but ive heard good things.

Re: Anniversary in Vegas?
Christy - Sounds like a great idea! We spent our anniversary in Vegas. We spent 6 nights in Vegas and it was just perfect for us.We stayed at Mandalay Bay. We were very happy with our stay there. Alot of people say it is too far down the strip, but it wasnt at all. We rented a car for 20 bucks a day and it was so worth it. Mandalay Bay is supposed to have the best pool. I heard other hotels have nice pools too. We only stopped in the Paris hotel shortly so I cant tell you much about it.
My friend goes to Vegas four times a year and said the best prices she finds is through Liberty Travel. I did all kinds of research on prices on the internet and I did get the best price from Liberty Travel and booked through them.
Good luck with your plans!

Re: Anniversary in Vegas?
Go for it! I love Vegas! Mandalay Bay, the Venetian and the Bellagio are the 5 star hotels on the strip. I tried to get into a package with Mandalay or the Venetian but it was difficult so we are staying at the Bellagio. I've stayed at NYNY and Loved the room (we had a jacuzzi suite with a great view of the strip), loved the comps and hated the hotel staff. They acted like what midwesterners think real NYers act like. I've also stayed at the Rio which isn't on the main strip but was very nice and has an awesome restaurant on the roof.Good Luck! He should be thrilled
