We are trying to come up with ideas for our anniversary. So far we came up with Sedona Arizona.
I would appreciate any suggestions you have!

Re: Anniversary Trip Ideas
do you have to go on a plane and get away? You can do a nice B&B. I haven't done one but I'd really like to for my anniversary

He didn't know what they were and I tried explaining and he doesn't get why we would want to sleep in someone elses house instead of a hotel

DH and I aren't into B&Bs either. We are very anti-social sometimes... esp when we're on vacation. lol We're the couple who keeps to themselves all the time. Anyway, to answer the post... we're going on a 3-night weekend cruise for our anniversary!

We are the SAME way. I dont want to talk to others while I'm on vacation with my hubby. Call me a biatch. Like, everyone always says, you make friends with people on cruises. We did that for our HM, and I told DH, I am NOT making friends.
To answer your question, I've always wanted to go to one of those spa places in Arizona. A cheap option may be New Orleans. When I was looking into is for the summer, it would've been 900 for both of us.
We already started talking about what we want to do. I ORIGINALLY wanted to go to Hawaii, but with the economy we're going to be more frugal, so we are thinking of Hershey, PA. I've always wanted to stay there and do the chocolate treatments and the spa

Re: Anniversary Trip Ideas
I went to Sedona when I was younger with my parents and it was so gorgeous.
I still remember the name of the hotel The Princess...it has Princess in the name,,,it was on a golf course and it was one of the most gorgeous hotels.
Enjoy if you decide to go there
Also , Dh and I got a great deal for Vegas recently (were going in April)

Re: Anniversary Trip Ideas
Sedona is absolutely gorgeous and there is so much to do like Jeep tours, horseback riding, hiking, there's a fun train ride too. I've been about five times and its just amazing.

Re: Anniversary Trip Ideas
Now we are thinking of staying more local because we are still paying off the honeymoon!
Has anybody been to Maine?
Also, what is there to do in Newport?

I've never been to either, so I'm no help. But locally, DH and I LOVE Boston. There is a lot to do there and within the area. We are going back up there in 3 weeks for St. Pattys Day!
