another lobster post.

I am craving a good lobster roll. DH and I went to maine for memorial day and I ate 2 of them while I was there. LOL. Where on LI do they make fresh and not too mayonaissy lobster rolls???

ahhh! i don't know but today's AM New York came out with a whole section on places in the city to get lobster rolls!! def check it out!!

jordans lobster farm has good lobster rolls. so does walls wharf in bayville. legal seafood ones are not good.

It is the lobster version of chicken or tuna salad but with fresh lobster, not canned. ANd it is traditionally served on a toasted hot dog bun.

I knwo Cosi is doign 'lobster salad' for $8.95 on their bread for a limited time. Ive heard it doesnt taste quite like lobster but isn't bad overall.

This was just some link I found of someone who loves lobster rolls and posted her favorite NYC places.

ummm wow those are super expensive!!! LOL! usually won't pay more than $20 for one, and that usually includes fries with it. And- thats usually at like nicer places. Shacks usually have them for like $15-$18.

I want to go to Maine. I want to go to New Orleans too and its for the same reasons; the food. I am such a foode.

Legal Seafood has a pretty good lobster roll! They are in the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City.

Try it...don't think you'll be disappointed

Ah Lobster Rolls..... just had one today!!! One of the few perks of living in Rhode Island.

As the OP said -The Lobster Roll on Riverhead & Legal's has one.

One of the best lobster rolls around here is at the Summer Shack. Here's the recipe:
