Another seating question please

Where did you sit your bridal party? At one table with their significant others or scattered?

One table with significant others since they all knew eachother.. and most of the weddings i have been in have been that way too.. Try not to stress to much over the seating. for the younger people they will hardly be sitting anyway.. mostly up and dancing and hanging out by the bar!

Re: Another seating question please

My BP members were with their dates, scattered among those they most wanted to sit with. (Family with family, HS friends with HS friends, college friends w/college friends, etc. )

Re: Another seating question please

We didn't want our own table, so we had our BP sit with us, along with their significant others. Luckily we had a small BP so it worked out perfectly - there were 12 of us.

I sat the Bridal Party where I would sit them if they were a guest...where they would feel most comfortable...

2 BMs sat together...another 2 sat at another table...

all GM sat together...and the Bestman sat with his family...as he was Dhs brother

2 tables - one for the girls and their dates plus a few friends that they knew that were not in the party; another for the boys and their dates and non bridal party friends.

We did 2 tables for the bridal party and their dates - one on each side of the our table.

If you decide to scatter them out, I have one thing that happened to DH and I that we didn't like. DH was in a bridal party and we got to sit with the friends at a friend table - all cool. However, it was a huge wedding and the friends were all in the back. Dh and I were seated at like the last table in the back corner of the hall - I didn't make you feel like you are a special part of the day and we felt we missed a lot and were the last to be served. Co-workers had a better table than us......I just felt weird.

Re: Another seating question please

For the most part, all the BM/MOH were at one table with their dates and some other friends they know. The GM were all at another table (next to the one above) with their dates and other friends. Both of these tables were right on the dancefloor in a prime position. Other friends were seated at tables around them.

Two other BMs (DH sisters) were at another table with family.

My BP sat at one big table to the right of us, with their spouses and dates, while Joe and I sat by ourselves, in the 'king and queen' chairs! !
