any computer savvy ldies out there?

I switched Btrflygirls pic to black and white, but because i cropped it, when I resize it to a 6 x4, it looks blown up and terrible, if I do a 5 x 3, it looks fine..does anyone know how I can make it look better? I have cropped TONS of pics from my own camera and have blwon them up to 8x 10's without a problem..could this be because its from another camera and it has JPEG artifacts? I dont know what else to do? Can anyone help? Thanks

Where did you get the copy you have? If you downloaded it from LIW the resolution is probably too low to run off a good print.

I figured it out!!! I did get it from here, the resolution was very poor by the time I opened it up in paint shop..I did adjust the jpeg artifact and played around the resizing..I was able to make it look better!!! Thanks!!!

The resolution is still probably too low. You really can't enlarge a photo at a low resolution because you can't create pixels--ie dpi. They must already exist within the file and when you resize to post on LIW, you lose a lot of resolution. It would probably work best if she emails you the original file, you can resize it with a higher resolution.
