I'm having my wedding there in Oct and I'm starting to get worried about the cocktail hour. I love the outdoor area, but if its chilly outside, the area they have for an inside cocktail hour is small for my 230 guests. They said people can spill into the lobby, but I'm not so sure about this. Anyone have/been to a cocktail hour there? Thanks so much.

I think an indoor evening cocktail hour is better in October. You can ask them to set up the outdoor area with tables for those guests that would like to hang-out outside. I am sure your guests will be mingling inside and outside if it is a nice evening.

I am a Hamlet bride! You may have to play this one by ear. But the lobby is soooo beautiful that I think it would be fine. They would probably add stations just outside the Hunt Room doors ... we went to see the place several times & one bride had it that way. They also have done cocktail hour in the Hunt Room ... that was beautiful. Either way, it'll be gorgeous!
BTW ... who's your florist? I highly recommend that you go with their house florist, Laskaris & farrel .. fm me for more info & pics if you like!
