Does anyone know of any upcoming vacancies for a Speech-Language Pathologist in their district for the 2008/2009 school year?
I am constantly looking on nytimes, olas and individual districts sites.....and NO luck!!
Just hoping if someone knew of a possible vacancy that has not been posted yet?
Thanks ladies!! I really appreciate any help here.

Have you thought of working for an agency?? It's hourly pay. A lot of my friends do that and make a DECENT amount of money.

I currently work for an agency but I used to work for Eastern Suffolk BOCES till I was laid off last June and they are continuing to do layoffs so no luck in getting re-called back to work there yet -- where I work now is okay but I would prefer to work in a school and have the option to take on some home cases through an agnecy instead of 100% agency.

My cousin, I believe worked for a agency and I think she would travel to homes and or schools to work with children and even babies. I don't know what agency she worked for and I don't think she is working at the moment. She has a two year old daughter and she just had her son in november.
