Or am I the only one? DH and I don't want kids now, and are pretty certain we won't ever want them. We're OK with it (although MIL keeps mentioned kids, even though she knows how we feel), just wondering if there are any other NWs out there who feel the same way?

I dont want them now, but I do in the future... Some couples feel the way you do and thats perfectly okay! And personally, I think you're really lucky to have a husband that feels the same way as you... Alot of times I hear about how one does and one doesnt

It's actually something we discussed pretty early on in dating. Because I agree, that if you both don't feel that way it can be difficult. It isn't that we don't like kids. We have a niece and nephew on my side and 2 nephews and a niece on his that we love. We just like that they go home with someone else at the end of the day

Meeeeeeee & MY FH. We are totally not into having kids right now..... maybe we will like 8 to 10 years from now, my dad has always said I wouldn't have kids but the rest of my family wanted me preggers on the plane back from the HM, and thats just not for us.

I have a teenager and I have to say I dont want kids, no more for me. Teenage years are hard and if I could have a bay and keep them as a baby then I would

glad I'm not the only one (even if some of you just aren't ready right now). Can you believe I had someone basically ask me if I was preggo the other day? I wasn't aware you're supposed to be pregnant within 3 weeks of being married.

Meg, I am with you, I do not want kids and neither does my DH. We had the conversation very early on in our dating....I am 41, he is 29, so it would have been a deal breaker for me if he wanted them. Lucky for me, he never wanted kids, way before he even met me, he would always say to his Mom that he could never get married bc there were no women out there that didn't want children!...then he met me! It's a personal choice, but I find people get highly upset at me when I say I don't want children. They think I am some kind of ghoul or something...lol...I don't hate children, I just don't want to have any! Surprisingly, many people react negatively to my choice!

Aww no one thinks you're a ghoul....lol but I agree, I work with kids everyday and their parents have been asking 'When's Miss Natalie going to have a baby?' And I say ' Not anytime soon' and their faces just drop . I chuckle to myself a bit I think its kinda funny.
