Any Summer 08 Brides Still Waiting for Video?

Hey girls! I used Steve Rosen from Enchanted Video for my June 21, 2008 wedding. My wedding was almost 10 months ago and I still have not received my video. I know he was having some personal issues, which were making him a little back logged, but I was just wondering if anybody else used him from the boards? If so, did you get your video back yet and how long did it take and what was the quality like?

I can be patient a few more months, but I am starting to worry a little. To me I don't care about the money. Its just that I want my memories. Steve is a really nice man and does not strike me as the type of person that would swindle brides. If so, I think he would not have even shown up at the ceremony. His work that he showed at the bridal show we went to really stood out and impressed me. I just hope it all works out for good. If anyone has info. to share, let me know or send me forum mail. my friend used the same video guy you did and they JUST got their raw footage like a month and a half ago (they got married in august)... they have had SO many issues with him... he would go for MONTHS without returning a phone call and email

i heard about the 'personal' issues he was having and if you ask me, thats NO excuse to not answer ppl and take almost 10 months to get RAW FOOTAGE to someone

Wow sorry you are dealing with this, how frustrating :( If it makes you feel better, I didn't use the guy you used but we didn't get our video yet (we are supposed to get it this coming weekend). Does he return your calls and emails?

I didnt get mine yet either. But thats because i was supposed to give him pictures of my honeymoon. But my laptop crashed and I can not get them!! Thats why i never got to post pics of my honey moon yet!

yeah but you dont understand - they had to FIGHT for their raw footage! i cant even tell you what my friend has been through with this guy!!

even AFTER she threatened to take legal action, he was like, 'fine your raw footage will be in the mail tomorrow' yeah ps - a month later she had to email him AGAIN asking what was going on and they got their raw footage about 2 weeks after THAT

its a real shame b/c they should have their actual video by now!! our other friend who got married 3 weeks AFTER her got her raw footage in november... not from the same guy (obviously lol)

I am! And I am 3 weeks ahead of you

I just approved my edits this weekend, so I was told I should be getting it by the end of this month.. so 11 months later, right about the time I hope to get my album. So no worries! The quality is of what I saw is great actually, so it makes me all the more excited to see it, you will be fine!

I'm still waiting but it's DH & my fault. We didn't give him the pics for the video until Jan! Hopefully we'll have it soon!

Yeah, I agree with you. Even when my ex-fiance cancelled our wedding and I was really depressed for years about it, I still went to work and did my best at my job. I guess since I work in social services I am pretty patient and understanding. I guess I will have to be persistent.

Yeah, the couple of times that I called or emailed him he did respond in a pretty timely fashion. Problem is he can't seem to give me even a timeline of when it will be done.

Interesting you should mention that. I sent him pics and music ideas back in July and when I called him in October to see if my video was done, he claimed he never got the package I sent. I have trouble believing that though since I sent it with tracking. So, I had to redo everything, which took up hours of my time and sent it around Thanksgiving and we are still waiting. I wonder if that is the true holdup? If I don't get it by our one year anniversary or at least raw footage or something, I am going to be really upset.

That is terrible! Were you able to salvage any honeymoon pics?
