oh god that old couple really got to me, so sad.

And I am so happy they brought in Dr. Greens daughter. When they brought in the med students and they all walked in, I realized right away it was her.

Yeah i dont get it. I feel like they left alot of loose ends. It didnt seem like a final episode at all.

I thought it ended just the way it should have! It wouldn't have been realistic to tie up all the loose ends neatly, you know? I like how they kinda left it up to the viewer to decide how certain storylines would play out... like Carter/Kem and Sam/Tony. In the end, the show was always at its best when they showed the medical action and everyone working together (sometimes well, sometimes not) and that last scene, panning out as everyone handled the incoming trauma... I thought it was perfect!

It was similar to the way the show started.

I did not watch it earlier this season -- what happend to Pratt? I was watching the recap and they showed him dying -- WHAT!!!!!

well from 8-9 it was more of a special. Past cast members talking about their experience and showing old clips and that sort of stuff. Then the finale show was 2 hours from 9-11.

I also really liked the ending, and thought it was the way it should be. This is what the show was always about. It was supposed to be similar to the first episode. It ended the way it started, with Carter in front waiting for an ambulance bc of a big tragedy. But in the first episode he was the new doctor and a bit scared, this time it was him with Rachel Greene(dr greene's daughter) who is a med student and telling her to put on scrubs to observe. I also LOVE that they brought her in, it was real nice to see.

And it was the first time you actually saw the whole hospital from the outside, they had never shown that before.

The only thing is that I wish they had mentioned Luca and Abby, i thought they were a very big part of the show.

very well said. The episode was 2 days of their lives and for all these things to become resolved in 2 days after years or months of it going on wouldn't have been as realistic. There were a lot of different aspects of the show I liked. The old couple was so touching, and showed how some things are worth not fighting about and to appreciate ppl when they are around. The daughter hadn't spoken to her mom in years and then said she cried the whole way there and when trying to remember why she stopped talking to her mom, she couldn't even remember what the fight was about. You also saw how the dr's got this message.

It was also great to see Dr. Carter finally open up his center, he had wanted to for how long. But then you see how he was considering going back to county, bc he realized that helping ppl one on one was always what he wanted to do.

Then the man with AIDS who then gets cancer, that whole speech he gave was so true and touching. I think it was a great message.

and hey a big issue finally got resolved, Frank finally got an empty in box

i get what you are saying, but they didnt tie up anything. i get that it wouldnt have been realistic if they would have made something overly dramatic occur, or if they tied up everything, but they could have at least tied up a few things, i just think they could have done a better job!

I liked all that touching stuff with the guy with AIDS and the woman who hadnt spoken to her mother in years, but for the final episode, we needed to know what happens to some characters too..

i too liked how they panned away from the hospital. i was liking how the train was right above them like that - very cool
