Anyone buy a Jennifer Convertible sofa bed?
I need a sofa bed and am not finding much out there for the style Im looking for. I found something not too bad at Jennifer Convertibles but Im not sure about the quality.Anyone buy any of their sofa beds? How did you like dealing with them? How is it holding up? etc..
Here is the set we are considering:

Re: Anyone buy a Jennifer Convertible sofa bed?
We have a Jennifer sofabed. We had a terrible time with the delivery (VERY long story). We have only opened the sofabed once, to have people stay over, and it was so uncomfortable. If I was to get one again, I would definitely upgrade the mattress.

Re: Anyone buy a Jennifer Convertible sofa bed?
I have a beautiful leather sofa bed I got three years ago from Jennifers. I love it! I have had to have it disassembled three times now due to moving and it is holding up really well. The mattress is not as comfortable as a regular mattress, but I put an mattress pad on it and it certainly helps.
Personally, I would highly recommend them for quality and service.

I have a deep red sofa bed that I use in my guest room. It doesn't get much use, but it's beautiful, comfortable to sit and sleep on and it is very well made. It's from Jennifer. It wasn't cheap. I know they have very cheap sofas and we didn't like them.

Re: Anyone buy a Jennifer Convertible sofa bed?
I owned a Jennifeer Convertible for about 2 years. The couch itself was the most comfortable thing ever - I slept on it some nights, and always napped on it. They are very well made. I actually cried when i had to sell it.
The pull out sofa was a Sealy or Serta - some name brand, but in true 'sleeper couch' fashion - it was unconfortable in that sagging, bar going through the middle kind of way. I don't know if it is possible to make a comfortable sleeper!
This was 3 or 4 yeras ago, so they could have improved.
Overall, I had a pleasant experience with them (and even was able to bargain the price of the couch down due to the fact that it was a floor sample.)
Good Luck!

Oh yeah, they stopped making the bed with the bar across (that really was horrible)..my bed doesn't have it and it's two years old just an FYI

Re: Anyone buy a Jennifer Convertible sofa bed?
I don't have one, but a friend of mine does. I used to stay over on it and it was okay - not very comfortable but not awful either.

We have a Jennifer Convertible microfiber sectional with the bed. The couch itself is unbelieveably comfortable and the the mattress isn't that bad just thin. I'm used to my King Size pillowtop though. Delivery was AWESOME came in no time around the holidays too. We bought it in the Hicksville store.

Re: Anyone buy a Jennifer Convertible sofa bed?
I just bought one a couple of days ago for my hotel. I get them there all the time and always have a great experience with them. They get a lot of wear and tear in a hotel and last a long time. I always pay the extra $$$ to get the fabric protection.
