Anyone call DH your FH by accident??

I have done it soo many times in the last 2 weeks. I feel so stupid saying this is my FH I mean DH!!!
I was already calling him my DH before we were married and now that we are finally married he has been demoted

I hated 'fiance' as well, I felt a little chessy saying it. - After we got married I would say my boyfriend. Took getting used too

Me too, it always made me think of that Seinfeld episode 'Has anyone seen my FIANCE???' I sometimes slip and call him my boyfriend, but I am pretty much used to husband now.

I am having a harder time calling our apartment 'our house' instead of 'DH's house' since he lived there for many years and I moved in after the wedding.

No, I got used to it very easily. I like the sound of it.

I also had the help of family and friends constantly asking about my 'husband'

I loved saying fiance too! I've slipped a number of times saying fiance. I still feel like giggling everytime i say 'husband'. Feels good to say it, though.

LOL, DH once referred to me as his girlfriend by accident just after we were married.

I was with him at the time and we just looked at eachother and started laughing.

It's funny you post this... the only time I would call him FH would be on here. WHen I post I put FH sometimes instead of DH and I have to go back and change it.

I never really introduced him as my fiance, I like calling him my husband better.

I did it a lot in the first few months of our marriage, not anymore

hehe...I love saying it!!

DH called me his fiance at our cocktail hour. He never called me that before we were married!!

I hated the Word 'Fiance'! But, I would joke about it with Friends 'This is my Fiance ' Of course, with a strong annunciation.
