anyone else feel like they are so sick of their hair??

I have had many different lengths of hair but must agree that I love my hair long. I feel like I can do so much more with it long than short. That being said, I just recently (like Saturday) chopped 8+ inches off my head. To me it's too short but it's hair, I got a lot of great compliments, but it's not a length I want to keep. I want to grow it out more. Is it easier to maintain? Maybe, but when I had longer hair I wouldn't blow dry it all the time but let it dry wavy naturally and put stuff in my hair so it didn't look a mess. If I let my hair dry naturally now, it would be a mess!

Now, I'm not saying my cut doesn't look good on me, I just don't like it that short. I suggest you ask your stylist what would look good on your face. I trust my stylist completely so I can do this.

I soooo know what your going through... i am sick and tired of my hair and i feel like it is so unhealthy... i would love to cut it short, but my hair when it is short becomes way to poofy, yet when it is long it weighs me down!!! there is no happy medium

i HATE my hair short. that i have established. i LOVE it long... but 90% of the time im too lazy to blow dry it for work (i really only do it on the weekends) so i feel like 90% of the time my hair is a pain in the assss

onto the color - i HATE my natural hair color... its almost like a dirty blonde... so i did highlights and then decided to just go for it and dye the whole thing blonde.... great - did that for about 3 years. then i went dark... real dark.... but now im kind of getting tired of THAT uggg i just cant be pleased

so NOWWWWW im thinking of just letting the dark fade to almost my natural color and doing red highlights... but im not sure how they will look

I feel almost exactly as you do! I had it long but it was a pain to blow dry and would get tangled in shirt collars and hooded sweatshirts and coats - ugh. So I cut it in January, but it's too short I think. I had highlighted it for years and I started adding some lowlights to darken it a bit, but now it's starting to look dirty I think - it's not, but the darkness makes me think it is. But I don't want to highlight it forever, you know??

I think I am going to grow it a bit. I am convinced I will never like my hair, ever.

OMG!!!! i could have written your post verbatim......

my hair is so long now, that all i do is wear it up in a bun, but i hate to cut it and miss it....

and i am soooo sick of dying it but i hate hate hate my natural mousy light brown hair

i want a change so badly but i just cant bring myself to do it....

when i find the time i may actually let my friend who does my hair have her way with it......let her do whatever she wants.....bc i dont have the guts to tell her to do it and then if i dont like it i can just blame her

My hair is soo long. I was going to go tomorrow to get it cut but now I'm going today. I can't take it anymore. In terms of color I just stick to my dark hair becasue I'm totally lazy with color maintenance so no other color or highlights for me.

My natural color is a dirty blonde too and I've had highlights for years. I tried letting it grow out and leaving my natural color but everyone always asks if I'm sick. I look better with lighter hair.

I also died it red once and everyone said 'umm please don't do that again'

I just stick to the blonde highlights and pray they cover the gray.

i am soooo tired of my hair style (or lack thereof) but can't figure out what else to do with it.

completely agree with you! I look terrible in short hair.

OMG! YES! I dyed my hair before I got prego 8 months ago. I needed highlites so bad....I ended up going last week and Im so happy I did. I feel so much better!!!!

This is how I feel! It makes me look brighter, more awake, etc if it's lighter. My natural color looks like my blonde hair is just greasy, and it's not - it's just not what I am used to! I hate it!

My hair WOULD look nice if I could blow it out like they do at the hair salon. What special powers do they have that make it look soooo good??

why don't you add layers to your hair with Carmel highlights?

i was thinking about layers... but i feel like that would make my hair look shorter than it is and that would bother me lol plus i already cut angles in it the last time i got a hair cut so i dont know if layers would work now
