Anyone else graduate HS in 98?

Are you having a reunion this year and if so, are you gonna go?
I just got an email about mine from a classmate... not sure if I wanna go..
Just curious!

oh boy do I feel OLD

HS in 84 and college in 88.
It is actually my 20 year college reunion this year.

I was 98!!! But I have no idea if we're having a reunion... I think whoever were the class officers senior year are supposed to plan it, but seeing as that was 10 years ago, who knows what they're doing these days?

I'm still in touch with most of the people I was close with in HS but there are a few people I would love to see again. Hopefully they'll do something!

i graduated in 96.. we had a reunion which i didnt go to... found out later that only 25 people showed up!!

unless i still had many friends left from high school , there was no way i was going!

Mine should be next year.. graduated 99. Will probably go [it was an all girls school]
and just went to DH's in 07. He spoke to 3 guys. I spoke to 5. Total waste of $140, but wasnt as bad as I thought Saw a couple LIW girlies

I graduated in '99 also and feel the same way. I really only kept in touch with a handful of people from high school, and that's just fine with me.

I graduated in 96 too! My HS didn't even have a reunion for us. Apparently, nobody in my year wanted to assist in planning one, so we didn't have one!

i was so suprised we had one ... we didnt have a big school to begin with ... guaranteed there will be no 20 yrs reunion..lol

I graduated in '98!! but since I went to John Adams I know for a fact they won't organize a reunion......I've been thinking about trying to put one together myself via myspace and any contacts I still have (I can finally take up some 'K.I.T.' offers from my yearbook autographs! ). I'm just afraid if I put a lot of effort into getting people together that it will still end up only being 20-30 people going or something.

You never know!! I thought the same thing and over 100 people went!!

I was '96 and went to mine last year (or rather 2006). There were about 40 people that showed up (plus spouses) and I have to say it was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. Reconnected with some people that dropped off the face of the earth and made some good contacts for work too.

We're all talking about doing a more laid back one for our 15 yr. Our 10 yr was a buffet style dinner at the Harbor Club complete with open bar and DJ. Pretty swanky.

LOL, no mine was in 2003 (do the math) and I didn't go. I think 10 year is too earlt, maybe the 20 year, but I still see the people I want to see. Except one.

my hubby's was '03 too.....he didn't go, half the people he went to school w/ still live in our neighborhood, so he sees the people he graduated with alot more than I do.

Mine was this past Novemeber (97 graduate). I am so glad that I went. It was a lot of fun!

hm like some of you said you're in touch with the people you really care about, and so am I, which is why I'm debating it. It would be about a 4-5 hour trip from where I live in PA (I grew up in upstate NY). so it will definitely have to be worth it. 80% of my class were alcoholics and 70% of them have stayed in town and married each other, so it'd better not be some redneck keg party or something. but I wouldn't be surprised if it was
