It's getting really funny!! I have a little Cairn Terrier and he's such a baby when it comes to getting attention. Like when DH gets home from work and i run over to hug him - my dog also comes running over and he'll jump up on our legs like he's trying to get in on the action. lol.
If DH starts kissing me or we're hugging and talking to each other, the dog will get up close & personal and start whining.
Yesterday DH came home from work early and tossed me onto the bed (it wasn't like THAT, he was just being goofy) and the dog came jumping up on the bed, trying to squeeze himself between us.
he's always getting jealous if DH takes ANY of my attention. That's probably because he was mine for about 4 years before I got married. So he's not used to having to share me. But luckily he LOVES dh and is always wagging his tail and wanting to play when he gets home. But it's still soooooo funny!
Anybody else have jealous little pups like this??? He's like a child. lol.

our little terrier rescue mutt is like this! She literally will squeeze in between us in bed or when we are trying to snuggle on the couch...she's a Daddy's girl
..my boy spaniel will jump on DH & bark if he's hugging me as if to say 'Get off her...she's mine!'....he's a Momma's boy.....if we pretend to fight they get all riled up too...

Yup! Our dog is always up our @ss!!! I mean if me and DH are hugging he litteraly squeezes in between us. When we cuddle on the couch he faces us and puts his head on the couch and stares! Sometimes its annoying because we trip over him, but we have to say he is the most loving dog. He loves his Mommy and his DaddY!

aw yea ollie does this. When we cuddle she always jumps right in the middle of us and if I or DH move away she just lays there content that she was able to get in the middle. I don't move from the couch when DH gets home because I'm pretty lazy but no matter where ollie is, if she's sleeping or awake, she gets up and jets towards the door. DH loves his welcome home from Ollie he gets upset if I lock her up or something and she's not there to greet him at the door.

OMG yes! Buster, I have always said, is an attention monster!! If we are on the couch laying together he has to come up and lay with us. When we get in bed at night he has to come in between the both of us and sleep. We let him for a little than kick him off but he has to always have some sort of physical contact with you.

Our dog was DH’s dog first—I call her his first love. He got her when he was 16 for his birthday—she’s 9 now. When DH and I first started dating Ali HATED me. HATED. If we hugged, she would try and get in the middle (and she’s a black lab mutt, about 90 lbs). If we sat next to each other on the couch, she would shove her head in between our legs. She was generally not happy to see me, even though she pretty much loves all people and is the friendliest dog ever. After a while she accepted my presence but I wouldn’t say she liked me. She basically ignored me. Finally the year DH was in grad school and I was working, whenever I would be at his place and he would have school work to do on weekends I would take her for long walks just the two of us. After that she kinda realized heeey wait a minute….you can take me for walks too?? I think she also realized that when I was there she was more likely to get taken to wide open fields or the beach to play…she started liking me. This was after we had already been dating for over 4 years. I would say she only grew to LOVE me after we got married and I moved in and was unemployed for 6 months, b/c we hung out all the time without DH and went for walks every single day. Now she loves me, but still nowhere near as much as she loves DH. She would ditch me in a second to get to him. She still does get jealous when he comes home from work and hugs me (or vice versa actually, she does it for me too) she just wags her whole body and walks around us making little squeaky noises like PAY ATTENTION TO ME! I HAVEN’T SEEN YOU ALL DAY!

uhh yes. My dogs (well my moms) are very jealous.
This is the best pic I have of a hug from my 70 lb dog to DH. If I hug or kiss him he gets all crazy and jumps on us.
Our Westie is like that. Sometimes we'll all be on the couch and I'll start kissing DH on the cheek and Shea will come over and start licking DH's nose or my nose. He doesn't want to be left out of the kisses

you know what's really funny? If I talk to DH on the phone and ask him what time he's coming home when I hang up I say ollie daddy's coming home and she looks at the back door because that's where he comes in. Then she cries when she realizes he's really not home. I don't know why I keep doing that to her

haha I have the same! Except mine is a 96lbs pointer mix. Buddy LOVES DH and I swear he loves him more than me. He follows DH around, jumps up on the bed and cuddles next to him, puts his head on his chest and I get nothing. When DH hugs me or sleeps next to me Buddy has to come in between us.

awww - everybody has such cute dogs!! I love that i'm not the only one with a jealous little pup. Sometimes DH will grab me and say 'She's mine!!' to the puppy and he will get all riled up with that and start barking and trying to cut me loose. Especially if me and dh play wrestle on the floor (which is often) the puppy will try to nip at DH as though coming to my rescue. hahaha. What a cutie.

Max always tries to get between us when we're sitting on the couch or when we kiss he's circling us. LOL
He also has this thing when anyone of us sneezes he jumps up on you to make sure you're ok....weird.

We do! A very very very very jealous dog. We have 4 dogs and when we got our latest puppy a white boxer we gave him too much attention. He has a sick relationship with my brother. This dog thinks he is human, he follows my brother all over. Hugs him like people hug one another. If someone tries to go by my brother he starts freaking out. Sits on top of my brother and won't let anyone go near him.
He is jealous of the other dogs too. He pushes them out of the way. He is 85lbs and our next heaviest dog is 50lbs, than we have a 22lbs dog and a 14lbs dog. So when he comes through they all run in the other direction.

our cat acts up too.. which i thought was weird for cats because they like to be left alone.. if DH and I watching tv on the couch and we ignore him, he starts pouncing on us.. if i am home alone and i am cooking, he'll sit by the kitchen and starting rolling on his belly or push his toy into the kitchen or something.. i don't think its jealousy, he just wants attention all the time..

Our red-nose pit bull is SO jealous. He won't let DH give me a hug without jumping up behind up, trying to knock him away from me. He is so protective of me
