do their hair for work? I feel like such a bum, but once I started working full time, I just stopped caring what my hair looks like lol. I love wearing my hair down, but it takes an hour to do. I could do it the night before, but then it cuts into my computer and TV time My husband calls me Norma, like Norma Bates because I wear it in this farty bun almost every day. I look at some of the other women in my office whose hair is done every day and they come in dresses, heels and I'm like, I could never. I literally have like no work clothes because I refuse to spend alot of money on work clothes. If I could wear my PJs hear every day I would

I don't now...but I feel like that's going to have to change. My hair is weird, it's really long and wavy or curly, depending on the weather, but thin and coarse so it gets very frizzy. My three step regimen is re-wet it, LA Looks gel, then TIGI Curl Spray, then TIGI curl lotion, slick back in to a low side ponytail, and take ponytail out about mid-day so the top is straight-ish and bottom is all wavy. It works for now, but in a more professional atmosphere I think I'm going to have to do it a little nicer

Re: Anyone else not
I wish I could be like that with my hair, but I have this weird, anal thing with it. It always has to be done- I flat iron it every morning before work. On the HM, I didn’t straighten it for a week, and I hated it.

Ok - you guys might hate me for saying this....but, I have pin straight hair that legitamently does NOTHING style wise. For work, I get up in the morning, shower, throw my hair under the blowdryer for like 1 min (no joke), and leave for the train with my hair half wet, and by the time I get into the city my hair looks normal. So, to answer your question - no I don't do anything with my hair for work. If not for work....I at least attempt to do something with it an take a little bit longer than 1 min with it!

Oh god...I wish. My hair is soo thick and it's wavy, so I have to flat iron it. It's funny because when I do where my hair down at work, I've had people not recognize me because I never wear it this way or make a huge deal like oh your hair is soo long because they are not used to it. When i was younger, it was always done..

Re: Anyone else not
I hardly ever do my hair....especially during the warmer months. When I do do ( immature, I know) my hair I only blow dry it and it usually takes between 10-13 minutes to do that. In the summer months I usually just add some mousse or gel and let it air dry. Today I didn't even add the mousee or gel...I just used moroccan oil and left!

I never get all dolled up for work. I put my hair up, wear little to no make-up, and dress comfortably.
Since the wedding I've been taking a little extra time out to make myself presentable in the morning. One co-worker said to me the other day 'Marriage suits you. You've just been so pretty since you got married!' Gee thanks! What was I before?!

Re: Anyone else not
I usually have my hair cut above my shoulders because it FORCES me to do my hair every day . Today, it's up in a pony tail though, but kind of poofy (not like Snooki though--think more like Gwen Stefani!).

yay! im not the only one who uses LA Looks!
I have super curly hair, soo i have no choice but to do my hair every morning before work. Otherwise I'm a big puff ball. Hair doing involves tons of LA Looks followed by hair spray.

my hair is the same!! I do shower and blow dry it every morning but it literally takes like 5 minutes to blow dry if that....its pin straight and really fine so its really quick to do my hair.

i have crazy curly/frizzy hair that i always used to brush/gel back into a messy ponytail/bun or tie it up in a clawclip. i did that for YEARSSSSS
finally after the wedding, i had my hair professionally cut and styled and bought the expensive products they told me too.
now i leave it down (mainly cuz its shorter and more manageable!!!!). i have not worn a ponytail to work since i got married!!!....and to be honest, im scared if i do, i will get stuck in that rut again...so im tryin to avoid itttttttt, lol

Re: Anyone else not
yes!!!!!!!! I am such a bum when i go to work and it does bother me but on the other hand, i really have no money at all for clothes and even when i buy something, its like 1 thing and then it gets worn out and shabby looking in a few weeks anyway so its not use!
and hair, yeah, i do it maybe like once a month if that.
ohhh and i used to wear makeup every single day, then it started me brining my makeup bag to work cuz i thought i should do it at least when i got here...now its, i just coverup stuff that would scare people and besides that...im a ugly, homely looking bum every single day
im with ya girly!

Re: Anyone else not
My hair is thick and wavy and can get frizzy in the humidity but IMHO as long as it is clean and I brush it, I don't care if someone else does not like that it's a little frizzy. When I'm going out I use gel or mousse to tame it but I don't have time in the morning.
I wear just gloss most days and powder and mascara if I have a special meeting or something. My clothes are business casual and while I don't have a lot of outfits as, like my hair I strive for neat and clean more than perfect. I am glad to wear dresses in the summer though. You don't need to have perfect hair and makeup to rock a casual dress in the summer at the office. It's a quick way to feel attractive.
I'm sure all you ladies are super cute just the way you are.

Re: Anyone else not
DH gets on my case about how I look when I go to work every single day. I can't stand it. I work in the same office as FMIL & she comes in everyday with her hair done, her make-up on, fancy dresses or skirts (she only wears pants if its pouring rain or snowing out) & heels. I come to work in dress pants & a fancy top, no make-up, my hair usually half up/half down (either straight or wavy depending on the weather). I almost always wear sneakers (I have a pair of heels at my desk if absolutely necessary). I always wear my eye glasses, once in a blue moon will I wear my contacts.
I just don't see the need to get all dressed up to sit behind a desk all day. I do not deal with clients & I am not an smarter or stupider if I wear an outfit that I purchased at Saks Fifth Avenue or at Macys.
