Anyone else sad the wedding is over

Am I the only one who is sad that the wedding is all over> I mean, I am so happy to be married, but at the same time, I am so sad the day has come and gone!!!

yes i am very sad. i think about it all the time.

i am happy to be married- but i wish the day didnt go by so fast.. i mean it just FLEW by..

it helps that i am helping to plan 3 upcoming weddings, but it is not the same..

Yes, we both felt that way for awhile. It's so much anticipation and then it's over so fast, it's natural to feel a lil sad. I'm still finding it hard to accept that it's really all over!!

But it gets so much better as the 2 of you grow together and you see your marriage taking shape. I get excited now to see the clock going UP!!!

I truly thought I would be, but we had a fabulous 3 week honeymoon & we'll be getting our proofs soon & to be honest its nice NOT having to run to this vendor & that & worry about little details. Don't get me wrong, we had a fantastic wedding day & enjoyed every minute of planning, but its nice to be able to just enjoy each other and be married.

honestly, I am not! I had fun when I was planning my wedding but I am so glad it is done with!!! Now I can truly enjoy making new memories with my DH!

I'm sort of sad it's over because it was so much fun, but I'm mostly enjoying being married and not stressing out over wedding planning...It's nice to have my free time back and actually be able to hang out with my DH.

I actually read an article in some bridal magazine that said that 1 in 4 brides will actually become clinically depressed after their wedding. My sister was definitely in that category after her wedding...Her husband told me that he would always find her looking at pictures in her veil and thought she had officially lost her mind...

Sad because it was the best day of my life & you can never get it back. Happy that the stress and planning is over, although I did have fun with it.

me too! Actually I miss the planning a little bit - it got fun in the end when I was working on all the fun and cute details! I would love to be able to relive the day - I couldn't believe how quickly it went!

I really thought that I would be but I am not sad at all., I enjoyed every second of the wedding and now it is time to jsut enjoy being married!!!!We have free time together on the weekend and not have to run out meeting with vendors and planning the wedding.

NOT in the least - it was great, I loved it, had a ball, but once it was over I was just SO ready to move on!!!

Honestly, no....I am thrilled to not have to contemplate a seating chart, a guest list....report to anyone on the status of the cake, the DJ, which vendor needs a payment and who's paying for it, do I have enough ribbon for favors, where are the BM dresses???....honestly, the headache of wedding planning was so big that I seriously found days where I wanted to call it off and just get married on our honeymoon, alone with just the 2 of us and have this intimate, private moment where it was all about the 2 of us.

I try to not live my life for any one day, while our day was the happiest day of my life, I do not have any feelings of sadness. To me, feeling sad would take away why I got married, to be with my husband, not to plan a wedding.

I am still anxious to see my proofs, but besides that being married is perfect and I wouldn't want to go back...

no, i don't miss dealing with my mil over seating arrangements..i don't miss stressing over money. i don't miss my sister getting her panties in a bunch over some stupid bs that had nothing to do with her.

i miss the day, that is what i miss. and it was only a week ago
