Just wanted to know if you could share some info on the area..
schools, parts to be aware of/look out for...

I used to teach there. The schools are pretty good and the demographics are mixed. There are some rich areas and not so rich areas. DH is actually from Port Washington, so if you need any more specific information, please feel free to FM me. I will answer your questions the best I can, and if I can't answer them, I will ask DH.

I worked in Port for a while. The town is a total mix. Theres the very rich, and the not so rich. I think the schools are great. There is no parking anywhere!!! they have their own police. the train ride into the city in less then 30 mins its a direct line. the town is cute with lots of shops, and very close to Americana!
