Anyone get their negatives and see pics they didn't see in the proofs?
There are quite a few, now that I look at them. I'm going to have to have contact sheets made up.

no. But, my mom INSISTS that my photog printed doubles on some of my B&W pics (I guess to satisfy the minimum). but, I had so many proofs that I highly doubt it. I think she's just being a mom!

I didn't get the negatives yet, but I was trying to keep everything straight and looked at the numbering on the back of the proofs and I know they didn't print some of them. I didn't care enough to ask about it, I just assumed they were duds.

I had that same problem and Duet gave me the disk to my wedding and any photos i did not have they said they would print them for me. THey took over 1200 pic i only got 700 proofs. They pick which photos they feel are the best. I wanted the other pic and they are printing them for me. Duet i know doesn't give you the pics where you have your eyes closed so on and so forth but there were a bunch of pics i noticed them taking in my video and i never sae them in my proofs so i demanded i get them.

well, we were given the digital files & there were a few that weren't printed, but I think they were just the ones the photographers took of each other.

YES!
We had all high quality digital photos -- we got 932 shots which our photographer arrnaged and modified as she felt needed (recentered, cropped, made black and white, etc.).
But then we got a disk of our raw photos (no editing) -- 1,800 shots.
I can see why she didn't include over half of them (lighting was off, people moved, bad angle).
But there are a few that are funny (even if they are bad pictures).
I'm glad we have them -- even for archive purposes.

Actually I ran into the opposite problem. All my pictures were digital and I got my 'negatives' on CD. Well I have noticed, that there are some prints that I do not have a negative to.

I don't have my negatives yet but I do know that I will have more negatives than proofs. My photographer did some editing on his part as far as not including out of focus/blurry photos in the proofs.

I didn't want to open my negatives, because I thought I'd ruin them - so I don't know
