There are sooooooo many pictures they didnt take that I would have liked! Ugh Im so upset. My photographer took pictures so far away? Can they fix that? On a 4x6 I look so tiny???? Im really upset. There are great shots in there too but a ton that I feel are missing- important ones. There arent any full length of me and DH DH with me and my family- rahhh I could go on....

Aww! Did you give them a must-take list? I really wish I had had table shots taken, and I had it on my must take list, but on the day the photographers said everyone was mingling and it was impossible to get table shots. I said fine, but wish I had said get what you can. But, I love the like 800 proofs of me and DH!

Yes, but all in all I was very happy with the one's I received even though they were missing quite a bit.
I did give a must take list, however, they don't know who 'Mary, Jane and Cindy' were. In hindsight, I should have assigned someone to point those people out....so I guess I can't blame the photographer...I was way too distracted to pay attention during the day.

Yes I had a must take photo list but I guess with all the commotion (sp) things get missed and you really cant depend on them for even just the 'norm' pics -

i am sorta in the same boat...i rushed pictures and my in-laws are po-ed that the dad and groom one and bride+groom+groom's family one didn't get taken BUT we have over 1100 pictures! so i'm guessing we must have some good ones! i am trying to let go the mistake i made--its hard- i just found the perfect short must take list; the list i made was too long THUS some important ones got missed--but what can you do? its not like we've ever done this before?! and all the planning in the world doesn't make a perfect day! try and let it go as best as you can and time will help with the rest.

This is why you must always have a must take list. We didn't have one and we have no pics of us with out aunts and extended family. We were sad but its not the photographers fault. On our proofs we are kinda far away but in our album the pictures are much biger so we are much bigger.

i'm actually really glad you posted this, i keep thinking about my own mistakes with the wedding-especially telling my photographer not to worry about all the pictures on my list?!! what was i thinking---i was ready to get to the reception. now i have to dealing with my in-laws disappointment...but i try and take my own advice and just move on! we all make mistakes right? best to not dwell....but i understand how you feel...***** thinking how you could have done things differently--i keep reliving the day wishing i could do things just a little differently...

I did have a must take list and after the photographer made a joke about it to me (saying i must be a teacher to have all that time on my hands (which i am not even a teacher)) he didn't get 5 of the 15 i asked for. Real nice huh?

Our photographer missed an important must-take photo and some of the other must-takes came out overexposed. (Yes, we gave him a list.) He also missed some very good perspectives in the church -- I don't think we have a single picture that shows the stained glass.
It's frustrating, but fortunately, I had a lot of guests taking pictures to make up for some of it.

I'm so sorry! Are they digital pictures? If they are, they should be able to crop them with no problem. You won't be able to tell that they were taken from far away.
