I probably will when we have a house. Right now I don't even have room to store my regular china plus we don't have the room to really entertain for the holidays....

Re: anyone have holiday china?
We dont' have holiday china We do have holiday dishes though... our regular everyday dinnerware is fiestaware, which comes in all different colors. So for the holiday season, we bought extra red, white and green plates, bowls and mugs And I have Christmas flatware that my mom bought me
I LOVE IT!!!

Re: anyone have holiday china?
Not yet. Once we get a house I will start collecting. I want to pick a pattern and have DH get me a new piece each year for Christmas til I have a whole set. My uncle did this with my aunt and I thought it was really special getting a new piece each year. And the pattern she picked comes out with something new each year. They have been doing this for almost 15 years.

Re: anyone have holiday china?
We inherited DH's deceased mother's Christmas china. It's a tartan plaid pattern. We just got it sent to us recently, so we haven't used it yet. I also want to get these accent plates - they go with our china pattern:

besides me
do you use it?
I have the dinner plates, salad/dessert plates, and soup bowls.
I'm thinking about getting the mugs, too. but, they're pricey and I don't know if they're worth it...
I'll attach the pattern. It really can't be used any other time of year...so I'm not sure if the mugs are worth it
eta: I also have these goblets (they came free with the china).
I have the same holiday china (not the goblets though)

I registered for 2 of the 'buffet sets' Each set includes 6 dinner plates, 6 salad plates, and 1 metal rack. Fortunoff had a holiday special where if you bought 2 sets, you got 12 free goblets.
So, my wonderful DH bought them as our 1st XMAS gift. Then, my MIL bought the 12 soup bowls.
still thinking about getting the mugs, though

Re: anyone have holiday china?
I bought a set of accent/dessert dishes from Pottery Barn with the eight reindeer on them and I got the Rudolph platter. They compliment my PB White everyday dishes.
My fine china has a 'holiday accent' dish that I want to get.
I have a holiday set of dishes, but they aren't fine china. I love them though.

Re: anyone have holiday china?
My MIL bought me christmas dishes ( nto china) for Christmas the year before we were engaged. They are cute, but I dont'think I owld have purchaed them myself (although DH swears I saw them in a store & liked them) I didn't use it untill this year.
DH & I just switched it withour everyday dishes in the cabinet & used it for dinner. We don't have a dining room, so we don't entertain, so I don't use my regular China, let alone holiday china.
Ann, I like that accent plate too!

I bought holiday dessert service on sale at Target after the holidays last year. I hope we will use it around Christmas this year.
